Sustainability is a cornerstone of EU-funded projects, ensuring that their benefits extend well beyond the funding period. EU programs like Erasmus+ emphasize the need for long-term impact.
ProCyD exemplifies this by focusing on education, knowledge dissemination, and institutional integration, creating a lasting impact in cybersecurity and data protection.
1. Educating Future Experts
The Pilot Master’s Program trains a new generation of cybersecurity specialists. Students gain international experience through education at Masaryk University 🇨🇿 , ensuring they are equipped to disseminate knowledge locally. Graduates will serve as educators and experts, amplifying the project’s outcomes over time.
2. Embedding Knowledge in Curricula
ProCyD’s Awareness Course has been integrated into accredited modules at partner universities, such as Universidade Pedagógica de Maputo 🇲🇿, University Rovuma 🇲🇿 and Universidade Licungo 🇲🇿. By embedding content into formal degree programs, the project ensures that cybersecurity knowledge shared during the project becomes a permanent part of academic training.
3. Expanding Reach
Hundreds of students have already participated in ProCyD’s programs, with materials adapted for broader use, including video formats. This ensures accessibility and scalability, reaching diverse audiences across institutions.
ProCyD’s strategy aligns with EU priorities by combining education, collaboration, and resource integration. By training experts, embedding knowledge into institutions, and creating open resources, the project ensures its impact will continue to grow, fostering resilience and innovation in cybersecurity.
