The goal of the ProCyD project is to enhance data protection and cybersecurity education in Mozambique and South Africa, supporting their digital transformation. Digitalisation offers significant opportunities for development but also poses risks if data security issues are not addressed. ProCyD aims to equip people with the necessary knowledge to navigate these challenges effectively. The project includes creating modular courses for students and lecturers, introducing new bachelor’s and master’s programs, and developing an online master’s program. Additionally, a pilot master’s program with semesters abroad will help build a pool of specialists and lecturers, ensuring the sustainability of the project’s outcomes.
