Pilot Master’s Program

In order to achieve self sustaining change, a pilot master’s program was launched to create a pool of local specialists and lecturers propagating and amplifying the project results.

This master’s program also features semesters abroad for the experts-to-be, fostering international collaboration and exchange at our partner, Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia.

After a kick-off meeting with parallel selections, 12 candidates were chosen through two rounds of tests and three rounds of interviews and informed about their selection in April 2024.

To insure their effective start, online trainings and information on preparation were issued to the participants, together with dedicated face-to-face sessions on Q&A and counselling, taking place weekly at the start of the semester, later bi-weekly.

Unfortunately, delays in the visa application process meant, that some of the participants were not able to join Masaryk University. In these cases, we are excited to welcome them alongside the new batch of students in 2025.

As of 2025, we are happy to announce that some of our first batch of students are on course to start the process of writing master’s thesis.

Furthermore, seven more respective students are about to enter the program.
